lol if you dont want ppl knowing where you are switch it off..... spoke to a couple on here last night and noticed they were in the same town as me and i guessed what part of town ....result...i got blocked hahaha  |

There is a lesson there somewhere….
"guessing' what part of town they were in may of come across as been a tad too far… and freaked them out.

Cos the location thing is from GPS data, not his profile location.
He may be working away/visiting someone.

"It only works on phones capable of displaying the mobile site. Doesn't work ln the desktop version as it uses the phones cell location or GPS."
Laptops using wifi use the same antenna triangulation as phones same results on my phone as my laptop  |

Tried it at the falkirk game today, funnily enough wasn't enough people at it  still found a few women though, but the mobile site will take some getting used to  |

but since the app taps into your phone's GPS chip, then perhaps the couple or at least their phone was near you. People do travel and don't advertise their travels on Fab.

Experiencing the same thing S. Not entirely convinced it works by GPS location. Why are people 600 miles away suddenly within 10/15 miles of me? And NO one from Ayrshire. Maybe they are 600 miles down south!... Hmmmmmmm. Convince me please.  |
