Which Premier Inn, Inverness?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Anyone stayed at the various Premier Inns up in Inverness and can recommend one that I can go from guest lift to hotel exterior to meet an admirer and bring him in and up to the room discretely without going past reception?

Easy Hotels would be best for that sorta thing. Their reception is always in an awkward place, away from the main entrance.
Yea you'd be in a basic shoebox, but it's semi-warm and dry.
There may not be one in Inverness, but it's an option for other places. |

A lot of city centre hotels have their receptions on the first floor usually it tends to be where the street entrances are on a hill or you find one that has underground parking and enter from the parking garage Inverness I’ve only ever done air Bnb so can’t comment on the hotels, pretty sure though all the premier inn are all walk in receptions though |

Inverness East (by Insches retail park) has a separate annex without a reception. Either go to the door to let them in or ask for a spare key card and leave it under your windscreen wiper. When they arrive, tell them which car and give them your room number. |

"All premier inns are the same. You can’t get to the rooms without passing reception"
Except the Premier Inn Leicester Square where you can enter at ground level and lifts go straight up to room (reception on 1st floor). And Premier Inn Aberdeen City Centre where the lift goes straight up to rooms from back car park.
Oh and from memory the Premier Inn Inverness River Ness which you can access the lift to rooms easily from the back car park via King Street |

Just a thought. Can a hotel receptionist actually stop you visiting friends in a hotel room ? After all if for instance my sister and husband were in town I could surley spend time in their room if I wanted to... What is the difference ? Receptionist doesn't have to know what is going on in the room, visitors are surely allowed ? |

The Prem Inn by the river, you can enter through the rear ground level car park and you are at the lifts. You don't have to go through reception.
The one at Insches has a new, seperate annexe, just ask for a room there when checking in. |

Surely it doesn't matter, in chain hotels that I've been to I don't think I've seen the same receptionist twice. They all work on shifts, if you don't look like you're being dodgy then they won't even notice.
I've also never been stopped by a receptionist when I've been going back to hotel rooms with friends. As long as you aren't causing them issues (make sure you have your key card at hand) they won't give a toss |
