"Jack the Lad… everyone in my school got their staypress trousers from there…. Used to wear them with my “Lord Anthony” Harrington Jacket!" Hahaha that reminded me of when my granny told us she saw lord Anthony on the bus one day ,how do you know who Lord Anthony was we asked & she simply replied because his name was on his jacket omg how we laughed & so did she when we told her it was simply a clothing brand.
She felt pretty silly explaining that to her oap friends at the pensioners centre lol |

Kirkcaldy had a Mr Beaujangles branch too, back in the day when it was a thriving metropolis. Bus on a Saturday morning into Kdy, 1st stop was Sleeves record shop for a good rummage through the LP's, then off to the Pancake Place for some scran. |

Thinking I was the bees knees in Tammy Girl. Then growing breasts and being unable to fit into anything from Internacionale, but still loving Au Naturel for my first flats decor (hello beaded curtain!) |

"Wish You Were Here on Renfield Street, next door to HMV.Trendy clothes straight from London and punk badges at the front door.
Was there a shop called Flip nearby? It sold more edgy clothes too."
Was great for lightweights and oriiginal 50s style gear. |
