is it more dangerous to let nick griffin spout his vile views.or deny him the right of free speech.supressing peoples views, is only one step away from book burning. for those who like a lighter post. how many sophisticated australians does it take to change a light bulb, both of them |

whilst i dont agree with the BNP persay, i do think that this government should grow a spine and look after those in this country first before we are so charitable to those from other nations, cos lets face it ....would they do it for us if the boot was on the other foot???? |

The thing about these partys are that they are saying what alot of folk are thinking- it says in the geneva convention that if a person is in danger then they can go to the nearest safe country so unless there is a war in france we are not the closest country to any of these people that are coming in to the UK. some are coming because of the social welfare system and hiding in trucks to get in . These folk if found are sent back to where they came from but just try again.
i would not agree with the guy from the BNP but i will support his right to say it.
In the UK we do not have the right of free speech as in the USA per say.
as we do not have a writen constitution |

mmmm cheery post but good talking point. While i agree to peoples freedom of speech i think we are on difficult ground as it was on bbc which is government funded hence public funded and i dont agree my tax dollars should be paying towards anyone with poisonous views on other human beings regardless of colour or religion. Noone chooses the country they are born in and i would defend anyones right to attempt to better themselves and family by moving abroad legally. Multicultural society is a far better place to live however there can be no open door policy as it leads to suspicion and freedom to abuse hospitality. Phew rant over. Anyone fancy a pint?? |

hi all xxx
I think the fact that every other political party & for that matter minority groups can have total freedom to express their opinions whether they are wanted or not, should mean Nick Griffin should be allowed his platform too & I wish to point out I'm not a BNP voter or sympathiser. What I do believe in is fairness & unbiased reporting by the media.
If I have a different opinion from you it don't mean your wrong & I'm right , it means we view the issue differently
As for Nick Griffin , I did enjoy the way he exposed Jack Straw's father as a coward during WW2
Like father like son

sorry. . Want to point out. Think everyone has equal views and hope this doesnt turn into a nasty post. But remember there is no total freedom of speech in society. There are laws to protect people from views which will offend or encourage racial or religious hatred. As people that use these forums will know. Thats why there are rules and moderators even on such a liberal website. Please be nice to each other and have fun xx |

everyone has the right to air there views no matter what others think even the bnp as they are a political party with members in the british society. i dont agree with all he said and do think that its the hand out given by our spineless government that brings most people to the UK. and not ask for political assilum at the first save port of call like what it shouls be.

As someone who works in the transport & distribution sector I find it incredulous when illegals are found in our trucks we are hammered with fines & usually they have vandalised the property of a legitimate British tax paying company, generally urinated & worse on the load & nothing gets done about it.
My view is when malicious damage is done to our property they should be treated as the common vandals they are & deported immediately.
This does not make me a Nazi it merely means I'm looking after whats mine
Regards to you all

true its illegal for illegals to come in to the country in truck but as my company only pick the trailers up from the port we are not responsible as we didn't put the trailers on the boat at the other side but our pathetic government treats us as criminals
Just last week two indians were caught on one of our trailers out of Rosyth, the driver apprehended one of them who tried to assault the driver but came off worse as the driver in question is one tough cookie, he called the police handed him over & now he is being investigated
By immigration getting accused of being abroad setting it all up demanding to see his passport 'to check if he was out of the country'
So if that's the way the regime treats decent law abiding people in favour of illegals is it any wonder Nick Griffin & his political steam roller are gaining momentum
It can be quite thought provoking
