In a previous life, Aberdeen used to be a happy hunting ground for me, both the city and the shire, where I still regularly visit on business.
But it seems to be no more, possibly because I'm now 12/15 years older!! |

Would hardly say I'm an expert
I had hoped to get something planned for next month but personal circumstances have got in the way
Maybe something for Halloween could be arranged.
In the meantime if anyone else wants to organise I'd be happy to be a backseat helper |

Maybe a smaller social gathering could be arranged. |

"Any meet ups planned for Aberdeen.
Social or pleasure ?
Get one organised. You’ll be surprised at the amount of fabsters willing to travel "
I agree, people are happy to travel! I had a couple travel up from Manchester for a social night out once! |

15 people from 15 households can meet outside without social distancing. Can anyone suggest a nice beer garden or social space where this can happen ? |

"Social would be alright just depends if anyone likes the look of ya as that's how it seems to be, personality doesn't seem to come into it"
Strongly disagree. I'm pretty sure, that in a social setting, personality forms a big part of attraction. |

It's alot harder to get your personality across over a few pictures and messages, Face to face is people seeing you for you |

Exactly this! I think you may have the wrong idea about the group socials though.
I've organised and attended more socials than I can count over the years on Fab, in group socials those who come along for a good night out, who are friendly, chatty, sociable, relaxed and have zero expectations for sex have the best time. Those who turn up thinking it's a pick & mix opportunity, where mere attendance entitles them to sex, they're the ones who leave very disappointed. |

Totally. I wouldn't wanna jump into bed with someone without some kind of social first.
Would love if there were more socials happening this end of the country. I live a trip away, but not having to book a whole weekend off would make things easier sometimes. |

If you ever get 1 of the ground and arranged we would be interested in hearing about it.
Bit of a trek for us but maybe we could justify it as could couple it with meeting friends we have up there.
