Correct. But they were originally Warner brothers characters. This was the first time WB and Disney characters appeared together in a movie. I'm sure. I may stand corrected tho. |

Spielberg convinced Warner and about half a dozen other companies to let him borrow characters but none of those companies had any input to the film or own any part of it |

Disney, they bought the rights to the original book before it even hit the shelves.
They only released it through Touchstone as Roy Disney was worried about it not reflecting traditional Disney family values. |
