We have been on nearly a year, met lots of really nice people and have had loads of fun, but when we are availible for a local meet, no one wants to take us up on it. Just wondering if its a problem in anyone elses localities? Or is there a way of breaking thru the "what if i know them" barrier that folk seem to have. xx |

It is a very very small world attuned and privacy discretion etc plays a big aspect in swinging therefor many including ourselves don't like playing too local....
For instance we once had a couple come to our who announced to us that a couple on out street were swingers... Told us their names... Exactly what house they lived in etc.... |

Wow, there was no need for that! lol. We realise that that could be a problem but are of the mind that we are all on the site together so it shouldnt really matter. People worrying about discretion is getting in the way of having a good time! Discretion is a two way thing and if respected by both parties, shouldnt be a problem. |

There is also the issue that if you meet someone local and one couple is up for it and one isnt it can cause problems. Some people dont take rejection very well. Especially if you live in a small community and cant avoid meeting them regularly |

Yeah, we can see how that might happen. We just feel it defeats the purpose a wee bit. I guess we just have to accept thats the way it is. Still think its a strange one, we are all in the same boat after all. |

We are, but it seems that a minority lack discretion. Some folks are open about what they do on here and have been known to brag to vanilla pals about it.
Its all about trust I guess…. we wouldn't say a definite no to meeting more local people but would take a while longer to trust them I guess.
Hope you have fun xx |
