Looking for Scottish spa hotel recommendations, extra points if they don't break the bank. Not for swinging, just for a getaway

Stobo is gorgeous, Blythswood in town is fantastic and the rooms are amazing

I don't go to Stobo now as quite expensive. I prefer the The Cardrona in Peebles these days.

Not a spa hotel but The steading a has a beautiful lodge that forms part of a B&B in Kettlebridge. It has its own hot tub and is really good value. Feels like a lovely retreat x

Kirkwirral Guest House and Spa near Dumfries.. hot tub, sauna, rest room, waterfalls, breakfast and excellent hosts.

Cannot recommend highly enough and 9.9 on booking.com

Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort was nice when I stayed, no fried eggs at breakfast though

The sunken bath in the Blythswood was amazing

It’s worth keeping an eye on ItIsOn for some decent deals on spa days and stays. We had a wonderful day of lunch, treatments and full use of the pool, jacuzzi and sauna at the Marine Hotel in Troon way back before lockdown, and it was a good price.
