right i dont know if it just me,
but i find when you get mail for someone, and they seem nice, but not what your looking for at the time, how do you say no thanx without offending folk,
we had a couple take the right humf because we said that they were not what we were looking for at this time... |

this is never an easy one
dont get us wrong but we aint every ones cup off tea
but its nice to be nice
we prefer being told sorry but u's aint for us etc
we always reply to people with a sorry we dont think we would click with each other
but we wish you all the best good luck etc
we meet other with a hope of maybe having some fun if we dont well so be it
and if we do its a bonus

we get people saying dont think we would klick, hey thats fine, we also get people we say sorry dont think we have anything in comman , its life, just go with it, dont take offens and dont give any be polite the first time, tell them to feck off the second time |

We normally reply: Thanks for the offer but not what we are looking for. Have fun...
We have however had a few ask why? Some we then respond honestly too.... and never hear from again. They did ask.. LOL Dont mean that to sound nasty either as its never meant that way. |

If individual(s) take offence at a cordial 'thanks for the offer but no thanks' or a 'not our type' etc then they create the perception of offence=their problem |

I would deffo be polite about it,and we are, after all not everyone will click and if folks think they will they sadly mistaken.
And if they throw a wobbler then omg wide berth right decision made lol

A dont think I have a "type" we will never know till a chat to someone (msn or phone etc), lucky enough we can handle the 1 e-mail a week and we take it from there really.
If you reply thats cool if you dont I also think its cool - If we mail someone and they dont get back to us inside a week - we are guessing they not interested. I have a wee greet on tracy's shoulder and move on xxxxxxx

chat, get to know folks...
agree .... a very likely match ( nowt is a cert in life )......
the possibility of saying 'NO' is significantly reduced ......

What I dont get is when people say "Oh we would love to meet you", then dont ever get back to you and still chat to you all the time in chat, whats that all about then, mind you their loss thats for sure

I take "thanks but no thanks" as a good clear message of them or her having zero interest, i move on, if its a " way too busy at moment" i say "cheers for taking time out to reply and leave it at that,if they get back to me, cool, if not thats understood too.
People are busy with messages,just so many guys seem not to comprehend just how busy, i never close the door on any,only those who are straightforward enough to say the simple yet effective "No thanks",saves both partys time. |

Simplistic as it may sound the only way of doing so without causing offence is to tell the truth.
A simple thanks, but no thanks, should suffice but, if it doesn't, don't get into long-winded explanations of the hows, whys, and wherefores of your reasons.
Nobody ought to be expected to explain why they don't wish to have sex with anyone. The presumption of consent is tantamount to the approval of non-consensual sex. Most people call that rape. |
