SEX is good for you, it:
Lowers blood pressure and stress levels,
Boosts immunoglobulin levels in the blood (immunity to colds, etc.)
Burns calories (only about 85 calories for a 30 minute session depending how frisky things get)
Promotes release of oxytocin, the 'love' hormone
Promotes release of endorphins, the 'feel good' hormone (also a mild painkiller)
Might reduce incontinence in women in later life (due to pelvic floor exercise, as of yet inconclusive as study volunteers are not forthcoming, but possible)
Better sleep (due to hormone levels and exercise) |
