Social meet for a free night out

Met a lady tonight for a social meet. We have been chatting and camming with each other for about a month now and after multiple attempts to meet her we went out tonight. I met her in Glasgow as agreed and we went for a meal at a very nice restaurant in Glasgow, the conversation was flowing well and we were getting on very great. I was driving so she had two bottles of the finest wine that i could see on the wine list. Then as she had planned we went to the cinema and seen a film of her choice. Then it went weird. She told me that she only goes on Fab so that guys will take her out to a good place to eat with nice wine then that is as far as she is going to take it? I told her that i had booked a room in the Hilton for us but she insisted on being taken home. She did say that i was a lovely guy and that she was just on the site to be taken out as her husband does not take her anywhere nice. I feel used and abused here and can sympathise with all the single guys on here that get used in this manner. Chilled champagne in the Hilton and going to have a wank now  |

not condoning what she did but looks like you were both leading each other on.

At no time did i expect sex from her? But for her to say that she used me for a night out was out of order in my book. SHE told me the restaurant to book, SHE told me the film to book, SHE told me the hotel to book, SHE told me the flowers and champagne that she wanted to have in the room???? Yet again a single guy gets played or am i thinking way out of the normal human perception here? xxxx |

I'm ashamed to be a member of the female species sometimes. A hard lesson to learn my friend but a valuable one. Most genuine Women would only expect a quick coffee or a drink for a social meet and decide after that whether they wish to play or not.
Seems to me you have been well and truly suckered by this female. Hope you realise that not all of us are greedy grasping exploitative women looking for a meal ticket, she should be ashamed of herself. |

Thinking practicaly here, was the hotel needed. I mean, could you of accomodated, and the hotel was a touch, a "to impress" thing?
Even if she listed it i mean, could you of said, something practical, like you could'nt afford it but come back to mine if we get along?
Personally, i would maybe, make such lavish plans only after actually met someone at,as others have said at a simpler/casual social meet initially. |

I've had something like that happen to me (I was in the womans position) but the dude called it a 'date' then cracked up at the end of the night cuz I wudnt fuck him... I wud say he led me on but, cuz he said it was a 'date' & not a 'meet' ... Just saying

The lady should not be on the site if all she is doing is using guys to wine and dine. She probably suggested the room purposely to give the indication there would be more than a social meet.

We have been there
Yrs ago when we 1st joined a cpl we chatted to for months finally met up on town.
Booked the Hotel they wanted to stay in Went to dinner in the Place they had been dying up go to .Went to a nightclub the always Went to.
Yeah all every well when come the End of the night the guy fälls asleep on the Hotel bar when we get back.
Now all im saying is...
We met them off a sex site...we spöke about it before..likes/dislikes.rules ect
Of course they knew what was expected Afterwards and by the flirting going was going great but couldnt help feel took for a mug åt the end of the night.

From some of these posts it looks like you are saying because he bought her dinner etc she has to fuck him and that is totally wrong, it was up to the woman if she didn't wanna fuck him or not, and she shudnt feel obliged to!
At the end of the day if he just wanted his hole he shuda just telt her to bolt when she suggested the meal & all the trimmings!

Well being a single chck and having had a few guys wine and dine me I'd like to say I think he's been well and truly played, I've had guys atranging a social meet and as far as I'm
Concerned to ne that's a quick coffee I don't want to be exposed too long to someone I'm not attracted to or the chemistry isn't there
There have been a few however then say why not get something to eat if they insist why not and again had some lovely dinners with guys I just don't find attractive once we meet, I'd never allow a guy to make me feel obliged to do anything more and never ask a guy before meeting to arrange anything like hotel rooms etc as in theory I'm not going to play on a first meet, though it has happened
I thnk a lot of guys though think that if they are a little more generous it increases their chances of getting sex at the end of the night but guys honestly don't waste your money if we like you and we clicked and the chemistry is there then it's going to happen
Don't get me wrong though personally I'm looking for fb that I can do the whole social thing with and not just about sex but I'm very much into paying my own way and sharing the expense of a night out xx

so your company was shite ,the wine you had chosen was disgusting all in all i like my men to be just that men!,and all the way through you acted like a little lost puppy (i have one at home),hence why i decided to go home to my slob of a husband ,at least i know i will get a fuck from him and not just a slevering on the cheek.

To the OP genuinely sorry if your story truely is real but come to fuck ,surely the amount you spent would have got you a few hookers for the night ,at least you would have got what you set out for

I agree, sometimes it's not clear when meeting others what to expect, we have been there where the meet was not how it was told to us, so not just single guys.
I would email her(cause I couldn't help myself), then block, then report.
She should be ashamed, even in a dating site I wouldn't stipulate all this

appalling behaviour in my opinion , if you are gonna meet socially then a social meeting it is , venue to be arranged by both parties.
I feel the suggestion of the hotel room was the hint that there would be more and can understand if the op had the impression that there might be sex involved.
I am with Laine on this one , sometimes I feel disgusted by fellow women using a man in such a way , its a swinging site and sometimes sex is on the cards but it should never be hinted at it should be spoken about before hand as to wether its gonna happen . I for one say if its just gonna be a social meet as i wouldnt want someone thinking i am leading them on in such a disgusting manner as the woman in question did to the op . |

Now obviously this is only one side of the story, but I can't understand why the man is getting a hard time if the woman is on this site to get free meals/drinks and lifts and not on here for swinging.
If the story is true then I think it is a scam and should be reported to be on the safe side instead of bringing it onto the forums about a specific member. |
