"Is it just me who’s absolutely gutted to be stuck with my kids for 7 weeks?
Had become quite prone to a wee fab social during school hours! "
Today is their first day off and I’ve loved lying in my bed not having to do the school run this morning.
However, reality will hit next week when they are chatting to pals through the night and keeping me awake when I have work in the morning…..I doubt I’ll be loving it so much then.
As for meeting people, I’ll still do coffee shop socials. |

Shangri-la |
Was great not having to get them up & out to school this morning and I'm really looking forward to spending time with them. The weeks I'm working will be a bit of a juggle but at least I won't be trying to combine home learning and work this time. |

I had laid the law lastnight explaining there was no school so no need to rush out of bed and try sneak in an hour or two gaming but shock horror..6.05 my eldest woke me up running down the stairs.
I’ve since had the dreaded I’m bored dad what are we doing today
Between work and having the kids most of my time off socials get tricky never mind actual meets! |

Youngest will continue going to nursery but dreading having to work from home for 5 out of the 7 weeks with the older ones here, constant questions and need to referee arguments! |

School holidays was my favourite time, love spending time with my kids they grow up too quick, I miss the half day cinema outing, the rainy day activities we used to have. Now I get to do it all again with the grandkids. |

I’m part home working during the holidays but still send my son to his grans as saves me remembering to feed him which he is big enough to do but would eat junk!
Gives my mum company too after being on her own most of last summer |
