it can increase sensitivity in the area, although it can have the opposite affect on different people. I didnt find it painful at all. i leave mine out for months at a time and then re pierce it myself, its a bit nippy but nothing too bad |

wouldnt recommend re piercing yourself unless you know what your doing  altho doing the 3 on my tongue is hard, i keep slavering everywhere when i try and push the needle thru! |
