"I think any social should be in a city centre for convenience of travel & accommodation for those traveling outwith the area "
Paisley is 10 minutes by train from Glasgow and just off the M8 for those driving. |

was thinking of those traveling by public transport it would be easier if in the city centre rather than traveling to the outskirts of areas they may not be familiar with.
Also many go on to hotels or other bars once socials are finished so rather than taxis or public transport back into town hense the city centre would be better |

I think the op with find it difficult to find a private venue just now as most are only taking bookings for weddings or funerals |

Tbh I’ve seen the pics of the city centre and that gives me fear tbh I’d rather stick to smaller towns personally I’m back to avoiding Tesco’s during the day again and we’re tier 2 here ! Plenty rooms at the airport hotels etc even braehead would be a good shout, for me personally I’d rather a social where folk haven’t potentially been in and out umpteen bars etc before sitting with them indoors. Although for me I’ve only got about a week left before I’ll be isolating for at least the next two months if not till Christmas |
