Abs are the most difficult muscle group to enhance and have on show. You must get to under 10% bodyfat which means a lot of high intensity cardio, a perfect diet and a lot of time. You can sit and do crunches all day everyday, but if there's fat on top of the abs, they'll stay hidden.
But, if you want to work your abs whilst on the fatloss regime, try some sets of hanging leg raises and overhead Barbell squats..

"sit ups...but do them as slowly as possible....it's not about how many you do, it's about how slowly you can do them"
See above,
Also, its very hard if not impossible to get a full showing 6 pack without having the correct diet nomatter how much exercise you do.
Thats where I am, exercise at least 5 times a week so im fit but as my diet is not as good as it could be then no abs to show for it although they are there. (just hiding underneath) |

Six-packs are made in the kitchen, not the gym. Too many sit-ups/crunches or whatever will just build up the muscle underneath and push the fat out further. |
