We were in a group chat with a couple, hoping to meet at a future point when safe to do so, we had an initial video hello and all progressed to a what's app group chat, sadly that's where it went down hill, the male half of their couple wasn't happy with not being at his beck and call when he sent messages so we nipped that in the bud, then came the photos of them having sex, (really not interested in seeing that unless it's in person) nipped that in the bud too, politely may we add, I said to K, it's only a matter of time before he messages you privately, oh how we laughed
Sadly, today, it came to fruition
This is why we will no longer entertain fuck buddy couples or friends with benefits
What a complete knob |

"Yeah...what's the disgusting behaviour though?"
Maybe there just disgusted that they invested time with this couple only for it to be spoiled by one man trying to bypass the couple route and jump straight into the females knickers by underhanded tactics. Some people very well could find that disgusting. |

Your answer has just shown that you understand fully the dynamic of why some couples swing
And the answers from some others, well, they just don't |

Yes , when you have a wife you tend to class yourselves as we . |

It looks suspicious when it's done from a single profile |

So single profiles can't have partners that also have single profiles. Really ?
He's not soliciting for a meet with anyone , he's adding a comment to a thread and including his wife into the comment. Wheres the suspicious activity in that ? |

This is why we dont bother with the big group chats so many people try to get you involved with and why we only progress to WhatsApp after chatting back and forth here, shame you wasted energy on them op |

"There are many couple's profiles on here with only a man using it.
Sad, but true."
Depends where really. I, (Mr) mainly read and respond in the forums, and find some of the posts entertaining. Mrs when she's on, generally has loads of messages, to she gets spends her time on here replying to them.
In response to the OP, we clearly state that we only meet as a couple, and as long as Mrs feels a connection and the guy is respectful of that, and understands we won't be meeting till safe to do so, all good by me. However, many times, after sometimes lengthy chats, some guys can't help them self but to ask her to meet alone. Right away any respect I had for him goes, along with the chance of him ever being involved in an MFM with us. |

Guys, honestly, I'm not trying to be argumentative here, however...
If you want to flirt I'm sure there's a private messaging option rather than hijacking a thread.
As a relative newbie, I guess I might take a bit of flack for this post, but, please know, "regulars" hijacking a post does put a lot of us off posting on here.
It did take a wee bit of courage to post this, but honestly, what have the last few messages contributed to the original message apart from ego boosts? |

"No wrist slapping needed. But, please, for relative newcomers, and we guess newcomers are welcome, please realise that it's more than a bit offputing when threads are hijacked by the same "regulars" who are contributing nothing to the original post, with no other motive than it would seem than to be seen..
Tin hat on " As you've said you are new on here so what I would say is get used to posts being derailed as none of them ever stay on track as you will see from many other posts on the forum.
Sometimes like this one it's derailed by an innocent comment that spirals.
Of course newbies are welcome many will say they aint made to feel welcome but most forum users will tell you the same to join in and have fun |

You know, the thing is we've just realised we've also hijacked a post with a moan, so we get it.
I hope though you'll also get where we're coming from, there are a lot, well some interesting topics that are basically hijacked by the same old profiles who contribute nothing to the topic, but use it as a way to "showcase" themselves.
As we said, honestly, we don't want to get into arguments, but simply want to put forward why it does put us, and possibly many other, people from joining in the chat in the forums x |

Totally get you, and honestly, don't see or feel the need to start what could be construed as an argumentative topic. We just hope that by hijacking this post, maybe people will be more considerate of the OPs topic in future x |

Find this is why I don't use the forums much. Should add better moderation controls so you can delete posts from threads you create. That would soon stop the endless hijacking crap you find on here. |

So, you propose a totalitarian, rather than a public forum where the author can go all Kim Jong-Un and choose exactly who and what is allowed to be posted?
Personally I find the random nature of the forum one of its plus points. Folk are here for many different reasons, be that for an ego boost, to seek reassurance, to flirt and chat nonesense as a wee escape from reality, to vet people they may want to pump, to ask for opinions, or to moan about the site and it's users.
Individually, I much prefer to come here for a a laugh and banter - a wee escape, but I wouldn't complain if someone went all downbeat and serious on a nonesense thread I'd created. At the risk of sounding clichéd, the forum users make the forum - it is what it is. |

No, I'm not proposing that.
I suggest thread creators have full control over there creations. If you want to hijack then create a new thread instead and keep the original on topic.
Again it's why I don't post much as I find the sea of nonsense here not to my liking and it seems I'm not the only one. |

Ultimately that wouldn't work as some people would abuse it and delete comments that didn't suit their agenda.

Yes, very often anything that is becoming interesting gets messed up by such things, yet there’s serious pedantry Re classification of threads sometimes. |

I'm sure in any walk of life you will find people who both agree and disagree with your views - many would happily skinny dip in a sea of nonsense, but what you describe isn't a public forum, and no doubt would be open to abuse in other ways. You could always roll your eyes and bypass the nonsense if it's not to your liking. I do so with the politics threads or anything else not to my taste. It's merely a flick of the finger. |
