"I thought browns had closed for good I wasn't aware it was still in business I thought I'd read somewhere it had went bust but I'm not 100%"
We hadn’t heard that, gutted if true but I’m sure it won’t be the only victim of COVID. |

I think I’ll bide my time until the hysteria of everybody trying to get out for a drink calms down, then hopefully I can enjoy a quiet pint in peace with friends. |

"Don't care, I just want a cold pint poured from the tap with just a little head. "
Does the barmaid know about that? You'll be thrown out and barred within 2 minutes |

I’ve honestly gotten to the point I don’t miss pubs now sadly.
However, the one place that I’ve always liked to go when I could was the Solid Rock.
I’ll wait a good while upon reopening though, no doubt all the crazy heads will ram everywhere first. |

"Any of the pubs in Hope St."
I’m pretty sure I’m thinking same pubs as you in Hope St, but what will the numbers allowed in look like?
There is no way they can ever be as busy as they were for a long time yet. |

So you would happily boycott Wetherspoons and you’d hope others do likewise which would see all the Wetherspoons staff out of a job? All because they were out of work last year.
Nice one |
