I see now we can do as we please without worrying about being fined for lockdown protocol abuse as Police Scotland are actively allowing mass gatherings. Enjoy People

Still not allowing sharks to be thrown though... now that would result is a lockable offence or fine.

I think you'll find, as you said yourself, that the people' are enjoying themselves....maybe because they are the people so to speak (couldn't resist that )

The people? What does that even mean? Anybody that thinks they are superior to others due to religious purposes, which is exactly what that line implies, show their inferiority in our view.

A disgrace when most of us haven't seen family or had fun in nearly a year!

I said I wouldn't get involved in football chat on here, but here I am. I'm telling myself that this is a Covid thread.

I think the people on this post and others who are addressing complaints about the weekend's happenings, by going on about what the Celtic fans have done, are completely laughable. Those fans were pilloried all over the media, and by fans of other clubs and especially their own. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it's time for rangers fans to take their medicine on this one. What happened was wrong, and they should be big enough to admit that.

The narrative of your reply clearly shows either your arrogance or ignorance of the point being made

Police assistance in breaking Lockdown protocol ? 7 fixed penalties handed out yesterday !! Seriously

I was told I couldn’t pay my respects at a crematorium gate to a friend who died from CoVid, by the Crematorium staff may I add ,stating that if I turned up they reserved the right to contact Police and have the laws applied !!!

So if you think this is about a wee trophy being won ... sooty to disappoint. All about arrogance entitlement and pretending we don’t live in a Victorian backwater where your place of birth and religion can still prevent personal betterment and be abused from “The People “

It's one rule for Atilas and another rule for the rest of us.Its shameful that the nurse who organised the NHS demo in Manchester gets fined £1000 for breaking Covid regulations. Those baboons in George square broke more than just regulations they broke up memorial benches.Just scum the lot of them.

I think you'll find if you actually read the reports that 28 people have been arrested and numerous Atilas as you refer to have been fined.

So don't use or hide behind an NHS worker to purport your aggrieved views and ultimately to support your known hate for anything and anyone who has different political views to yourslef.

Anyway, this is the same scum who was in George Square this morning clearing up the debris. (Not reported by the DFM).. why not?

Same scum who have well exceeded a go fund total to repair or replace damaged benches. (Not reported by the DFM)...why not?

Have a look at Twitter and local news relating to StJohnstones's league cup victory celebrations attended by a few hundred supporters breaching Covid guidelines.

Funny the DFM is a supporter of Johnstone. (NOT REPORTED or condemed)...why not?

Selective grumbling by SNP and its obsessed supporters LIKE YOU (known unionist hater)to deflect from their problems.

Absolute scum element. Those seeking to justify the behaviour are they themselves complicit.

I’ve seen many proper Rangers fans in absolute dismay at the goings on over the weekend.

Have to agree with the above but it's not as one person purports to be only one club's supporters who have a 'scum element'. Scum are scum wherever and without knowing their political persuasion.

Sleekitly trying to pull the wool over other readers of this post to get his known political message over.

Both sides have they're elements of entitled idiots. It was bad enough last yr. But this goes far beyond it. The minority that vandalised the benches in George square can be found throughout Scottish football but the fact remains this time it was rangers. the club and player should be find and reprimanded they did nothing to discourage and everything to encourage the behaviour in my eyes

I haven't got an issue with your personal views but to single out one club and to take actions or reprimand them only is a tad unfair, is it not?

Why did you exclude Celtic fans (anger and frustration) and StJohnstone fans( exuberance)....they all breached guidelines one way or another.

I do accept, however, no apparent damage or aggression was shown by St Johnstone supporters but two wrongs still don't make a right.

The Polis should have known ‘they don’t do walking away’ unless their club needs their help and they choose to let it die.

Think you should read my post again I did mention the crap last yr and I'm not singling out the actions of one club. But did you not see rangers player running and hugging fans on Saturday night. I have no love for football what so ever but I do have love for my family whom I haven't seen properly in well over yr now. The weekend could well see tougher restrictions. Oh while your on about the other clubs did any of they're fans riot and cause damage to property.

Did the celtic fans not damage police vehicles and stone the Parks of Hamilton busses that were carrying their own fans ?

Lets not be kidded here, All clubs, and in particular the old firm, have a scum element and are as bad as each other.

I don't want to, in fact, I can't and wont condone what Rangers fans did at the weekend.. stupiditry to the firt degree

But I think your use of words is not only selective and inflammatory but incorrect...I saw the coverage but I don't think they were rioting... over-exuberant and stupid yes...cause damage to benches....yes....leave the city centre covered in litter....yes... but riot??

Police Scotland don't normally coral and escort crowds through the street who are rioting.

However, it sounds good for your response.

And inclosure and in relation to your comment about whether other clubs caused damage and as stated by another person above...go look at BBC new articles of 3-4 weeks ago.

...YES THEY DID.

I suspect it's due to the falling death rate and increasing vaccination rate

Sturgeons scientific narrative is long gone. Pure and simple political games for her own gain and you lot lap it up and shout for more. If we were going by the science we'd be alot further down the line than we are now.

there is no shift significant shift in numbers since the "we won't follow the UK and will stay in lockdown" speech and now so somethings driving the change of heart and the only other thing happening is consensus in Scotland is moving away from snp dreams lol but OK it's the numbers honest guvenor

Factually wrong !

Well done to our Bridges team who carried out a Covid safe Bridges event today in Aberdeen.

The event wasn’t even endorsed by the SNP.
