Morning coffee

I've woken up early and remembered I'm out of coffee so it's a cup of instant to get me started instead o the usual areopress. What's everyone's morning coffee ritual?

fife,

Just started on the Skull Crusher but not sure I’m convinced. I don’t mind instant if it’s decent, prefer the lavazza intenso to lots of ground coffees.

I prefer tea to start my day. Coffee is for mid morning & that's usually just one cup so I like it to be good coffee.

We've ended up getting super nerdy about coffee over lockdown - got ourselves a grinder and espresso machine and learned how to bake amaretti!

Lothian area

Had a Nespresso machine for several years - usually a few espresso before and after shower each morning

One thing I have noticed is the price of pods varies each week between £2.50 and £3.00 in different supermarkets - Aldi are now £2 and are Ok

I've moved from stovetop to aeropress for my morning coffee. Trying not to get too nerdy about it and keeping away from all the chats about aeropress methods

I am a self confessed coffee snob and I treat myself once a day to a very good coffee, bought a Italian coffee pot that goes on the stove many years ago when travelling in Europe and never looked back, tried all sorts of coffee beans prefer to freshly ground them, my favourite shop is the one in the grass Market for buying coffee beans, looking forward and hoping it survived this pandemic to going back for more..

Instant for me as I don't have ground coffee and I threw out my caffetiere a few years ago. Have to get a new one some day. There's nothing better than your first coffee of the day. Just so lovely x

I've spent my morning in cat ears, hold ups and frilly pants dancing round my livingroom.

I don't like coffee

I've got Skullcrusher too - The first one is deffo in your face, but after that you can appreciate the flavour. It's a nice coffee, but the prep and cleanup is a lot of faff. If they did one that worked in a cafetiere, I'd probably buy that one instead.

I've just had a cup of Cuban fresh ground... Lovely.... But I'll probably not sleep tonight as a result and that'll be my coffee alliance for the week lol
