Perception and reality are different things . Great attraction in who a person is etc . Looks can be important , but without a good personality etc it’s all wasted . I suppose there are levels of intimidation on a visual stance . But maybe in person it’s a different story |

I think it is a thing but more of a personal internal thing that’s probably more linked to our own confidence. I’ve looked at profiles and thought that there’s no point in messaging as they wouldn’t be interested but as someone else said, we don’t actually know until we try. |

There are no leagues just people who think they are in a higher or lower league than others.

This is definitely a thing, although I admit it is due to my lack of confidence cause I'm a bugger girl. Even if they message me i often say, look in sure I won't be your type. |

I was on a dating site and a girl didn't date me because she thought I looked like a film star and was too hot, wasn't till she realised I was real then thought holy shit...Too late though. No second chances.
P.S I'm not being a knob or that, I'm sure my friends will say same  |

I will look at profiles and sometimes think "well they definitely wouldn't be interested in me", but I absolutely know that is more about my self confidence/insecurities than anything else. I think I generally assume that they will be looking for people who are very similar to themselves, which I know is not necessarily the case.
I do sometimes wonder about profiles that proclaim that they are only interested in "good looking/attractive people" because ultimately everyone will have their own perception of what that is.

There’s no such thing as to hot there are no leagues if you like someone it’s worth a shot you will find most off these “ hot ” people are very friendly and nice to talk to so why not give it a go |

Maybe your pics are edited, filtered or whatever but they look hot. I think there's probably lots on the site who'd be looking at your own profile and drawing the same conclusion that you're well out of their league. |

I think as you said it’s more to do with your confidence than anything else. If someone messages you and you are not attracted to them I don’t think you would say you are out of their league it’s just a preference by you. Likewise if you messaged someone you like the look of and they don’t want to meet it’s not because they are out of your league just they have preferences like we all do. I guess what I’m trying to say is pluck up the courage to message and you never know what will happen. Good Luck x |

Confidence has a lot to do with how attractive we feel. Often we feel unattractive when others view us very attractive. If you feel someones too hot for you you might be surprised to find out they might think that they're not that attractive. In the end all you can do is chat. Like kink beauty is subjective when all like different things in people. At the end of the day were all human |
