Just wondering who has been on a TV show before, how was it?

It was ok. Sandwiches in the green room could have been fresher and the presenters behaved like arseholes but it was an experience.

Been on three times.

I agree about some of the presenters being stuck up but others were so nice.

Got asked to do presenting on TV and turned it down.

Have done several drama programmes and 1 Hollywood movie. Extra work like, haha blink and you’d miss me. Infact don’t blink and you’d miss me as well. The movie was 2 weeks of hanging about for a 5 minute scene and about 3 seconds of our characters lol.

Grub was outstanding though. Top caterers brought in for that.

When I was a Pontins bluecoat working at Southport in 1991 we helped out in a live morning broadcast for a BBC kids show which was on a Saturday morning called the 8.15 from Manchester - special guests were Jimmy Cricket and Ross King- as the only Scot on the team, I slagged Ross off all day by saying he was shit when he was a DJ on Radio Clyde

Done some extra work in the past I’ll agree with the catering it was always 1st class. Cast and crew were always decent don’t think I ever met one that was up themselves.

I (Mr) was on the couch on the STV version of the One Show years ago. The two presenters were lovely, although no catering in the green room.

I was so bloomin nervous but by all accounts came across well (according to the three people who watched it).

Sky News, in quite a big news story. No interest in us initially until they saw who we were talking to and once they found out our involvement in the solution, they were like flies round sh*t and security had to escort them off the premises.

Was on Jim'll Fix It back in the day, I wanted to operate a well known glove puppet for an audience. Jimmy kept it in his trouser pocket and I was so disappointed that he didn't actually let me bring it out and show to the cameras. Just had to stand there like a lemon shuffling Sweep around but keeping him out of sight. Nice Vimto in the green room, mind ??

What a coincidence , i was also on that Show after requesting to meet Showbiz personality Garry Glitter .

Sadly Gary had a wee bug that day but Jimmy Very Kindly Taught me how to milk a cow blind folded .. what a guy what ever happened to him as you never see him on top of the pops these days ?

Total Wipeout, made it to round 3 on the roundabout.

Was utterly exhausting and completely non stop, long hours. Crew and contestants were ace.

I’ve applied for so many quizzes.
