I couldn't watch it when it started, it felt too emotional. I binged them last night and was reminded of all the young people I knew when I was young.
I was talking to colleagues about GRID and then learning about AIDS in the age before the internet was a thing for everyone. Then finding out about sexual transmission to women and babies born infected, when we thought our life-changing STI was herpes.
It really was a different world then. It's perfect for LGBT+ History Month |
