Working full time and still actually going into work which is vital for my sanity. Trying and failing at home schooling two very reluctant teenagers. For fun I dance, write, cook and like most other people spend far too much time in front of a screen |

Learning an instrument is a fantastic lockdown hobby if you can afford to buy one. Plenty You Tube showing you how to play practically any song on your instrument of choice.
Weights and running have also helped me pass the time! Takes a pandemic to get me the fittest I've ever been lol! |

I'm finding this lockdown much harder than the first one.
During the last one I poured my energy into doing positive things & trying to make other people smile & to make it fun for my kids.
This time round it feels a lot more challenging to put a positive spin on things, home "school" is not easy and the crap weather isn't helping my mood.
I need to try to re centre a bit I think.

Sometimes all that's needed is a change of perspective, easier said than done but I try look at what I have rather than what I don't and the good old saying "it can always be worse " |

Think it would be a good idea if we help eachother out. And post one positive thing they have gained during this shit show haha.
I've personally found that my external influences that effected my mood can be changed by my internal state of mind and focusing on small short term goals instead of big long term ones is more productive. |

I started off re-editing some old portraits and other images but I soon got bored of re-working photo's I felt I had already made as good as I could. So these days I watch movies/ sports and occasionally take my camera out and grab a photo of the birds and animals in the local area. However 9 times out of 10 I end up just taking my camera a walk |

Worked right through the pandemic on the front line (not NHS). Have much preferred it as it keeps the mind active, and myself in a routine. Couldn’t take being furloughed or working from home. |

Well we're going out for tea tonight. We're going to dress up as if we were actually going out, a nice meal, bottle of wine, music and candles. Whoever says "out for tea" has to cook it, my turn tonight Jane |
