I hope I'm not the only one that has noticed this, but there seems to be a lot of threads being resurrected, recently.
No posts on them for nearly a year, then suddenly someone posts on it and brings it back to a half-life.
On a Forum that would be an ideal situations with new threads only popping up when the last has reached it's post limit, but some of the ones I've seen resurrected are done for random reasons.
One I saw the other came came to a natural end. It was about a Social in 2016, and the organisers actually said it wasn't going ahead, as they were merging their social with another. Suddenly, a post on it on Friday asking if there was any update, and the one literally above it was over a year old with the cancellation announcement quoted.
