Surviving Death

Has anyone watched this on Netflix? As a total skeptic of all things paranormal I wasn't sure it was a watch for me but the first episode on "Near Death Experiences" fascinated me. I found the stories compelling.

As someone who has experienced tragic loss the thought of being reunited with those I love after my death is wonderful. The peace, love and joy of those who have had this experience and returned to "life" is heartwarming and gives me hope through my skepticism. I mean, wouldn't it be just amazing to think there is something afterwards with those you have missed for so long?

The mediums were all highly dubious to me and I have no truck with that side of things at all but Near Death and Reincarnation stories were incredibly convincing. I remain hopeful but cynical. Any one seen it, have an opinion or indeed have any personal experience I'd love to hear. J x

It is a fascinating subject and one close to my heart - what lies ahead in the 'Great Beyond'? Nothing is certain but the fact we are all headed there one day! Looking forward to watching!

i watched half of episode one, inky because it was late.

Not a sceptic and have seen many videos and read many articles abiut this subject.

I will get back to it soon, but last night we watched the story of O, again stopped half way as it was late.

I’ve not seen this but must try and catch it. I’ve only had one real experience that made me think wow and I couldn’t explain. I was at a friends house and the psychic/medium there started speaking in detail about someone who at first I couldn’t place, then realised it was a friends son killed in extreme circumstances. She told me things I couldn’t confirm but he did along with a very personal message for him. The friends were totally unconnected incidentally.

Stick with it. It raises lots of interesting questions

I'd love to get a genuine message. Sadly that has never been the case x

Isle Of Bute

I really enjoyed the series - the NDE episode was the most interesting, for me, and the reincarnation one was intriguing for sure too!

The whole medium thing is BS and those con artists are trash.

All in all a decent watch

I've only watched the first episode so far... dunno what I think of it all I always remain skeptical until I experience something for myself, I'd be asking what the religious backgrounds of these people are. I think a lot of it is chemicals in the brain... when your about to die your brain pumps out a crazy amount of chemical (can't remember the name) presumably to make death that little bit easier for you, but it's the same chemical that your brain produces during sleep which causes you to see things and dream, so I reckon that this has something to do with people saying they see things during a near death experience... but it is strange that they all experience the same type of visions???

We have no idea what comes after death as no one alive is privy to that information.

Energies are a fascinating thing & lie closely to quantum so I wound say complete gobbledy gook (although I do believe there are confolk out there)

I-origins is a film you should try and watch, it is very good and with all the biometrics happening now we many find out soon enough if souls can be reincarnated

Personally I think lack of religion has a lot to be desired when it comes down to how we view death now to previous generations & centuries...what I see with this is a lack of religion has given people no hope for after death (seeing loved ones/heaven/reincarnated etc) that folk fear it so much that they think we should be immortal.

Personally when my time comes, it comes & another journey may begin & even if that is not a spiritual one,my body with become food for others and therefore live on in them.

Even poo has a purpose..

Melatonin is the chemical you can get synthetic versions of you struggle to sleep.

The brain is very good at tricking but then there's things like the double slit experiments that demonstrate that:

everything is possible all at the same time, it's observation that brings it into visual reality.

The same as particles form a wave pattern, energies move in waves, people more tuned into their energies are more likely to feel difference other just don't notice.

The energies are a web that connects everything so for instance think of how a spider hunts...it build a web, hides and then appears to kill it's prey when it feels the vibrations..think of how tiny the footsteps of a bug are & how much they vibration they can cause...but the spider feels it

There are a lot of studies where science is now recognising that there the universe is more interconnected than we realise. Dark matter, quantum physics and so on... there is much we do not know
