"Hope they find a new venue and open up again this year 
Do they no longer have the same place? Was just chatting to someone about the after 8 the other day. "
Someone posted up that they spotted the property up for sale. |

They closed down due to covid.

Someone in Chat a few weeks back said it had already been sold. When I went looking I really had to dig to find it.
However if you search based on the address of "8/10 Spittal Street, Old Town, EH3 9DX" you should find it.

Scotland, considering the population of both Glasgow/Edinburgh major city's within 30-40 mins of each other really have very little going on in comparison to a few city's in the south. Is our attitude towards clubs etc different north of the border? Have often thought about it.....
On the other hand CJ's aside as Caroline is a fabulous host with a great club. What would the perfect club look like in Scotland? |

Unfortunately I think this could be simply wishful thinking, for the next 3-4 years anyway. Far to risky a proposition opening any type of club . |

I’ve been looking for a naturist spa in Scotland that has rooms to play available. I know a couple in England and loved those, but haven’t managed to find one in Scotland. Do they exist up here?  |

Gutted to hear about After8 being closed now. We had just joined 'Fab' a few weeks before lockdown hit in March, sods law that is lol we had been looking into visiting the club since it is just over the water from us, were going to book a hotel nearby the club and make a weekend of it. Truly hope someone else sees the potential for another club in Edinburgh, we can't wait to experience our first club night once covid has done one x |

When you talk of making a weekend of it that's how I normally treat my trips to CJs.
So many shops in Glasgow that are either unique to it, or just aren't in Edinburgh.
I love my Glasgow shopping trips almost as much as my trips to CJs.

I had only been once, we had an enjoyable night, but I was never in a rush to get back. For me, CJs is far superior. The only reason we went to After8 instead of CJs was because CJs had their gay/bi male night, so obviously we couldn't go. We went to CJs the night after, and it was just world's apart, in my opinion. Still sad to see Edinburgh not being represented, in terms of sex clubs xx |

It was handy for us and we could go on fairly short notice if the yearning for a play came on us. It was a bit run down it has to be said but we always found someone to chat to and always found a playmate.
We weren't regular attenders but we'll miss the place. I did hear that something may rise from the ashes, we'll just have to wait and see.

Just had I was going go visit for first time in couple year all this happened and looking at the year 2021 my first few visits there were suprisingly just over a decade ago and did meet lots of very nice people but sadly lost touch with them and rejoing fab and my youthful looks fading I don't think many people remember me original username was Newlysingle hopefully time be as quick as last decade and make most of all clubs when eventually open with no covid worries |

It was awfie cleekie not the best of locations - been to a few others that were much better. My first visit was great socially but lacked any play. The second I left cos it was just full of mates of the barmaid and owner all ignoring folks that werent known. Pitty it closed but was far to expensive in comparison to others. |
