And remember Christmas is not cancelled. Christmas is not buying stuff in sales, Christmas is not eating twice your body weight in Turkey.
Christmas is not having relatives round for one particular day of the year when there is a risk of they do they may never be there to see again.
Pull a cracker, watch Morecombe and wise Christmas special, have a sherry. Stay home, relax, and don't worry about what is happening outside your door.

It’s going to be quite a different time of year for almost everyone family's missing being together , more folk alone than usual . I hope everyone has the best time they can then spare a thought for those who have to work taking care of others be it doctors , nurses , carers , fire service or police who are on shift I hope it’s quieter for them . Roll on a brighter more prosperous new year this year needs booted well up the arse and good riddance to it .  |

I think people are doing the sensible thing and staying home !
A lot that are planning time with family are now limiting time going out to shops & the like so as not to jeopardise any chances they have of a family Christmas  |

Working until 6 on Christmas Eve then it's a few days of doing nothing and enjoying the fact that my family and close friends are all doing the same.
We're all still here n that's more important than what we can or cannot do.
All stocked up on food and drink what more could I want
