Anybody tried above search engine.

It’s supposedly doesn’t track you.

As we know Google and the rest track your every search.

Sofar I have only used duck duck go for fab.

Your thoughts if you know more about this search engine.

Cheers

Somewhere over the rainbow

i've been using it for over 18 months now with no problems whatsoever. It seems to cut down on the random adverts on social media too x

Use it all the time for my 'dubious' sites, and for searching.

I've tried it, but not sure I see any real benefit from it unless I was searching for something I never want repeated, or trying to fact check something I didn't want my history to skew.

In general, most websites will have advertising of some form, so I'd rather it was targeted and of some interest rather than completely off topic for me.

Similarly, if searching for something, the tracking recognising the sorts of results I like gives me better results.

Duckduckgo, doesn't track your session, however your ISP still does.

If you looking to be anonymous on the web then you'll need a VPN..

I don't necessarily want to be anonymous on the web, but don't want anyone finding out where I've been on the web.

If your concerned about being tracked , my guess is you shouldn't be going to that site in the first place . Fab and porn sites ect are not illegal so it makes me wonder the type of sites your actually looking for that need visited covertly.
