Jump to: Newest in thread
"Hi definitely missed mine, it is always in Glasgow and i book a nice hotel for the night, always the chance of fun back in my room, but will have to wait to next Christmas. " Me too im normally out every weekend in December a mix of party hosting, work night out, and friends days/ nights out.
I've definitely missed doing that this year. |

"Who have missed not going on their Christmas nights out ?
Are you glad you didn't have one or have you missed it ? "
Worked offshore on the oilrigs for past 30 years and spent many a Christmas offshore (2 weeks)
so for myself, Christmas is just another day, same for military personnel, as well as NHS, and emergency services |

"Definitely missing it, though on the upside I don’t have to worry about the Monday morning gossip about my antics lol I thought you were a good boy too lol "
You know I’m not, and that’s why you like me |

My works christmas night out is usual held in January at one of the big hotels in glasgow. Couldn't make the last 2 so really going to miss this one. Though there is chat we could have it in the summer. Some of the girls are looking at lighter cocktail dresses instead of ball gowns if that's the case. I'll put one of kilts on.
Side note. Hopefully the pipeband can get to play at highland games. Miss that more |

First time in 10 years, with a different company and they did it virtually with over 50 folk on zoom!
They delivered afternoon tea and a bottle of your choice (I chose red wine) to everyone too!
Previous employer had caterers come in to our office and we’d have quiz etc there.
Defo missing the fab Christmas socials/party at cjs where I’d normally have a new outfit to show off

My work had suggested something similar, but as the typical night out was last Friday (11th) it's getting a bit late for it now.
Being honest thought I tend to skip work's Christmas nights out. Over the years my attitude to them has changed, and now I just don't care for them.
Like yourself I missed my CJ's Christmas Party.

Definitely missing my Christmas nights out. Usually go to Edinburgh for an afternoon/evening out with my friends. Around 20 guys so very good laugh Then my work has a formal night in hotel in Glasgow plus we have an informal one with the work usually in Glasgow. I miss the turning up at work on the Monday seeing who has been naughty lol |

I don’t really enjoy them. Thankfully they always seem to fall on a night that I am washing my hair |

My company did a zoom one last week, which actually turned out to be fun. Gave us some money to buy some drinks and had a company come in to run a quiz, was good fun! |

Mr here. I've my virtual night out from tomorrow afternoon. I've a mixture of feelings on it. expecting it to be rotten, but the £50 food and drink allowance we've all got might mean it is fun.
On the plus side, I can't fall asleep on the train home. |

But you could fall asleep in front of your laptop camera, if it's being done via Teams? |

"We had a great night at the Hamilton Christmas social last year definitely missed nights like that "
It was such a great night, with fantastic company. It's so disappointing that we couldn't host another Party Night this year. We had looked at venues straight after last year's party too. Hopefully next year will be bigger and better. X |

Being a barmaid I have always been very busy with work in the lead up to Christmas. Our Christmas night out always took place in January which took away the Christmas feel.
The hubby is self employed working by himself so never has one either. |
