Thinking of future meets when we are safe to do so.
Usually hotel meets but we are now thinking of Airbnb, maybe better for 2 or more couples
What's your go to for fun meets?
Suggestions welcome x |

"Airbnb worked great for us. Less worries about staff keeping an eye out and noise levels can be slightly higher than when you're in a hotel x"
That was our thinking, make us much noise as we want, extra beds/couches and don't need to sneak people past reception |

"We booked an airbnb for our last party. Anytime we’ve played in hotels we’ve had a knock on the door to say keep the noise down lol"
Looking at your photos/profile we can see why it would have been noisy
More space, facilities etc
Starting to be convinced Airbnb is way forward

It had the chance to try either out but I can imagine hotel receptions are a pain, even if I’m not playing I tend to stay in serviced apartments as they are bigger and more comfortable, not tried one from Air B&B yet |

Yeah I'd be careful about Airbnb because it's private rents if you do something against their t's and c's you can get quite a fine from them. Personally I wouldn't have a party in an Airbnb, you might cause damage to their property and that ruins the fun for everyone, most airbnbs that have booked in the past have said no parties so I imagine if you got caught they might try and claim damage to their property, food for thought |

Didn't come across as if you're planning to invite dozens of people? Loads of airbnb places can have more people staying over, you don't have to go for a 1 bed flat. Depending on how close the neighbours are you might still have to watch noise levels, but it's nothing like in a hotel where everything has to be silent mode x |

Wasn't going for a full on massive party, just thought one or two couples, more space to move around, chill etc instead of a small hotel room. Taking a couple back to an Airbnb would be a lot easier than a hotel room |

Most Airbnb have a no extra guests policy and a lot have cameras at the entrances to check that is not breached so be careful if you decide to go that route |

AirBnB are strict on where you’re travelling from with the tiers. Hopefully that’ll be eased a bit today.
There’s plenty of aparthotels that are good. I’ve used the Premier Suites and not had any issues.

"Anyone use Airbnb’s or hotels for day meets? Wondering the best way to go for meets that are a few hours?"
Pretty sure you won't find day use on airbnb. A lot of the places are minimum 2 night stay.
Heard of day use hotels, but never used it. Maybe try google x |

Airport hotels are great, as you can get a day room, and they are always too busy to notice the comings and goings. |

I’ve used hotels for day meets before and it’s worked out well. You can get some really good deals in decent places! |
