"Not exactly central belt but the hotel at Turnberry is stunning."
have to agree with you there,
The style and quality of Turnberry rooms is next to none for what you find in Scotland, they far exceed Gleneagles, the old course St.andrews and all 5 star hotels I have stayed at
I was very impressed with the room and bathroom of the Turnberry, thumbs up for this hotel. |

Murrayhall Golf resort in Perth has lovely traditional room as does The Huntingtower Hotel in Perth.

Dakota also have nice rooms but may be too minimalistic for your needs.

Try Number 11 Brunswick street in Edinburgh. I have just had some images published from a shoot I did there. House of Gods as others have said is good but if your talking a proper photoshoot the rooms are a bit too small. Its more suited to phone camera shot's |

"Any ideas of nice hotel rooms for photo shoots? Preferably in the central belt and not too modern?
Thanks"
If it's only for photos you could do what pro photographers do and dress a room purely for some photographs. If it's for fun too there are lots of lovely hotels in the Pitlochry area. |

I have stayed in Fonab Castle, very nice room set up and 4 poster bed, the rooms vary, ask to view first to choose. |
