"Anytime before the 1st December is just wrong
I agree. Told my colleague last week that a plonker in my street had his full garden decorated and tree up. She replied "me too"." To be fair its been one hell of a year for everyone and if by putting a tree & decorations up a little early will cheer them up then why not !
Its doing no one any harm in doing so |

Thing I’m thinking about all these folk like yeah put the decorations up early it’s been a crap year we’re furloughed we’ve lost jobs and we need something to cheer us up ! Electricity companies are going to love you and a few miserable faces when the Leccy bill arrives in the new year |

London - till 25th |
Haven't put a full tree up in at least 6 years. Have a small illuminated stained glass tree that I put in the window.
Last 2 years, headed to sunnier climes.
Alas, not to be this year. |

"When do you put yours up?
I’ve always been a traditional 12 days before, but my kids demand earlier as in now. Managed to negotiate the first week of December as a compromise "
The weekend after Thanksgiving. Which, coincidentally, is this weekend.
I’m not big into Americanisms but I stick to my instance that the C word nor any of its fancy trappings come out before Thanksgiving is done and gone. Helps pushback on the relentless push to make the Christmas season six months long. |

I was devastated today as my son said he doesn't care if I put a tree up or not and he never wrote a list for Santa mind you he's 15 and I still make him leave out cookies and a carrot for Rudolph. I think he's over it haha! Tree will go up on the 15th December |
