Not saying she shouldn't of gone to pay her respects at the service but to go to the wake in a pub and socialise afterwards was maybe a mistake but we are all on a learning curve with this virus and will make mistakes. |

shes not my cup of tea and i disagree with her politics , but if you’ve bought comfortable masks and dont wear glasses that are steaming up, its so easy to forget if the mask is on or off if someone doesn’t mention to you ... this is why most shops have someone at the door to remind you ... its a total non story |

Felt a bit sorry for her. Must have been a rotten day already, these events are draining and it's easy to stop paying attention even just for a second.

Aha ha, you gotta love posts like this, my favourite word is hypocrisy and by feck wee nic is up there among the best of them. Rules are rules at the end of the day.
How many heads has she asked to roll for rule breaking, I'm sure her kicking herself will make it ok . By the by, I agree it was a simple mistake she made and she shouldn't be asked to resign ect , but Holy shit , the woman has shown pure and simple stupidity that she should actually deserve punishment for. Anyway , it will be old news by tomorrow, she will be back up preaching to the millions , doing her usual political point scoring over Westminster but maybe now she will have a little sympathy for other rule breakers now as opposed looking for sackings and point scoring from it. Alls well that ends well. |

There's 2 sides to every reasoning though, if you get stopped for speeding and say it was an error of judgement you can still get fined or lose your licence, apologies won't get you out of the justice.
If EVERYONE has 1 error of judgement or makes a mistake then that's millions of errors and could and will cost lives. All very well saying it is a minor infraction of the rules but the main point is , she more than anyone SHOULD have known better. |

No one gets into politics if they have a thin skin. Hypocrisy goes with the job as does a lack of honesty. The justice secretary was on Twitter condemning Dominic Cummings for breaking the rules and wanted him to resign or be sacked. Back on Twitter last night that Nicola is awful sorry and could we just forget about it.

Stealing a million quid from a bank or 100 quid from a bank its still stealing.
i dont think thats really right though is it... certainly not in our justice system anyway... severity of the crime and circumstances leading to it are taken into account by judges when sentencing |

I'm absolutely raging about this.
There's one rule for famous people and one for the rest of us.
Sturgeon, Margaret Ferrier, Cummings, Rita Ora (twice), Corbyn, the list is endless and none of them got fined or anything.
Meanwhile, motorists traveling to Braehead got fined the other day as Braehead is just outside Glasgow. It's an easy mistake to make. The Police weren't letting them off by saying sorry.
She's got no excuse - she makes the rules and talks about them every day.
She should have been fined. It would send out the right message and help us get through the pandemic. |

She was on TV tonight condemning the EU trade deal. She doesn't even know the details as the 2,000 page report hasn't been published yet.
Bunter Blackford and others were tweeting about seed potatoes, yes really, as they had been left off the trade deal so that was apparently why Scotland needs independence in EU. Nothing about the trade deal with Egypt which takes more of our seed potatoes then the EU or the increased fish landings for Scottish trawlers. Sometimes the continual negativity in everything just gets to me. |
