He was up against better and more deserving nominee's ..... so NO he shouldnt have got it.
He was president for 11 days when he was nominated.
still like him tho .. and hopefully he will ' clean up ' that country of ego centric bullies... a wee generalisation but hey......

oi you - cheeky get.
A think he won more because of who he is (the first black president) rather than what he has done, as far as I can see not much apart from appear on chat shows and dance with his Mrs but I might be a tad cynical.
Rather Ironic though to award a peace prize to the leader of a country that has been at war for the last 8 years, make you think.
Maybe the community award will go to the guy who mugged the old granny.

he is now focusing on new priorities...
sorting out Israel/Palestine issues...
then he is moving onto Middle East's sponsorship of Osama Bin Laden and his actions..
then Iran and North Korea's nucleur testings......
once he has sorted that lot out...
he gonna try the biggest peace mission...
HE GONNA COME TO FABSWINGERS AND SORT OUT ALL THE INHOUSE FIGHTING, SQUABBLING AND BITCHING.......
good luck Barrack and whilst you busy, can I shag yur wife m8..

whilst i disagree with him getting this award (too early/ to nondescript) i do think that there is more to it than at first meets the eye.
remember he is the first black african american to hold the post of president, therefore can have more of an impact on global race issues, im not saying he is the answer to all these problems but maybe this award was given on the basis of what he CAN achieve, not what he has done already.
still wrong to give it on this basis nayway in my opinion, however i guess thats how politics works these days....
I wonder if he will give the prize money to charity....... |

I like him but in hindsight he should not have got it at this stage he has alot to prove still,He took over his leadership that was a mess and had the worldwide money matters to deal with there are many worthwhile people who should have got this (It is the Noble Peace prize and at the end of the day his country is at war not peace) |
