ASV was nice enough but not for the price of you are not already a member. We used it a few weeks ago to set how it was.
Aberdeen really lacks a nice public spa/steam or sauna, the village is fine but again expensive if you are not a member or staying there.
It works out better for us to book a day room at the village, have some fun in the morning then enjoy a sauna in the afternoon.
Be nice to hear if there are any other suggestions.

The gym I’m a member of has spa facilities. If you go with a member then it’s a lot cheaper.
Have enjoyed some steamy chat and play in the past  Would like some in the future too  |

It's not a place for play we are looking for, but just Aberdeen in general does not seem to have any good options for a cheap but nice sauna.
They are usually only in places tired up with a much more expensive gym membership. |

Can recommend the Aberdeen Altens hotel usually a lot of great deals with a fantastic sauna/steam room and pool which I believe you can just pay to use or have a membership for along with the gym. Can thoroughly recommend the hotel too  |

Couldn't agree more with W from TWGN. Aberdeen still lacks a good entry level sauna or in fact any that allows nudity and play for those who enjoy intimate socialising

I popped in after a good longboard surf session earlier this year. Great for a sauna, not sure it has the privacy/scope for a play session.
Perhaps one day Aberdeen will move into an open minded 21st Century lifestyle acceptance. I won't be holding my breath.
For those of us that enjoy the hedonist lifestyle ... we still have to travel.

Your still missing the point, it's not a sauna for intimate play, but just a nice sauna that you don't have to pay a gym membership for to use.
Nudity would be great but this is the UK and still too prudish in general for people to accept that. In some ways it might be because people here assume nudity equals play. When it's nice to just enjoy a nude sauna without that.
If you've ever been to saunas in Europe you'll get the idea.
Again separately a club to play in Aberdeen would be brilliant, but don't call it a sauna. |

However, I think you'll find I was subtely making two points, hence the word 'or', but it is of no matter. I did rather drift into the the naked play aspect a little too much, as is my nature
I completely agree with you in regards to the sauna availability without the whole gym or Spa membership. It's shockingly overpriced.
Like you (clearly) I have a European experience and very much enjoy same sex, naked saunas where there is no play.
I can highly recommend Löyly in Helsinki which I recently visited on several occassions. The Baltic Sea open water dip makes the whole experince very refreshing, especially in February at -15C 
Yes! Let's keep Saunas as just that and clubs for play. Hopefully clubs with boutique quality sauna & spa facilities with flexible pricing! Let's not even go down the whole 'men only' saunas rocky side road!
There can't be too much nudity or play, outdoors or in as far as I'm concerned. Certainly not always both at the same time however!
Sadly, as you say, the Victorian prudish hangover for the British casts a long shadow and it will be sometime yet before they can disassociate nudity, sex and taboo.
Perhaps like minded souls in our little community here and elsewhere can encourage that idea to grow.

Agree, missed your 'or' so sorry. 
Yes, we really do enjoy clubs that have the spa areas and it does put us off the ones that don't have them.
Maybe one day we can have both locally but think Aberdeenshire maybe just doesn't have the population that would make it worthwhile for a business.
Building our own in the garden is probably the more realistic idea!
