Have seen a lot of local posts recently from folks asking for extra cash.
Cause you're not allowed to Solicit on here, they try to be subtle in what they're saying, but it's blatantly obvious.
I sold some things a few months back and put the cash into a savings account, so if I need any extra for Christmas, I can just dig into that. It's not mega-bucks, but every little helps.

Work more.
Can’t put it any simpler. If your job isn’t paying you enough either ask for a raise or move on.
This time of year it’s ideal to get into the home deliveries for Tesco etc if you want more cash. |

"To do it properly you need business insurance too though
I very much doubt the local delivery drivers are following the insurance and income tax rules.
" Nor do I but that won't help them when they have an accident and they find out they are not insured |

Ask for a raise? in this current climate employees should be thankful they have a job and not demanding more money. |

"I used to throw out clothes I no longer wear but recently I have put them on EBay along with other items like golf shoes, football boots etc and have made about £400 since August.
"
Aye. Any retro football tops should go on eBay and have a starting price of three figures. The prices they go for are ridiculous. |

Uber Eats. Deliveroo and Just Eat to name but a few. Not to mention the countless other fast food outlets and restaurants trying to get by by offering takeaways.

If you’re working in this current climate then your skill set is even more valuable. Employees should not have to be thankful for a job. You’re doing a job that your boss is making money from. |

Or when stopped by the cops, and get lots of lovely points on their licence!
Happened to a friend's husband, no more driving for a while |

6 points, £300 fine and then there is the recovery fee of £150 plus storage. Got to deliver a load of curries to get back the almost £500 getting caught costs you. |

I recall reading as a kid a very informative book that may assist the OP in his quest for cash..
The local library may have it...
Its entitled "How to get rich quick" by R. Banks...
Do not recall the print company but believe the authors first name was Robin..... |

"Delivery driver for takeaway. Easy cash in hand. Restaurants are desperate for drivers at the moment "
Just be careful and make sure you upgrade your insurance to cover hire and reward |

I’ve started my own small business selling aftershaves and perfumes to friends, family, colleagues and randoms on Facebook. It’s been a lovely little earner and has given me something to do during my excess spare time. Highly recommend |

Dominos pay the insurance for their drivers.
Cut back on things you don’t need such as Virgin or Sky subscriptions if you pay for extra channels.
Find a better contract for your phone. Review any other bills that you have.
I’ve sold and bartered items on Facebook. |

Many people have said sell stuff and this worked for me years ago as a poor student.
Got wheels? Monitor free listings on gumtree. Lots of people list crap they don’t have time to dispose of, but the odd thing is valuable and worth you while flipping on eBay, Fb marketplace or back on Gumtree. I got 50 IP office phones for free that were selling for £10-30 each on eBay.
Search eBay sold & completed listings and FB marketplace to get an idea for how much an item is worth.
