As I am field based working from home feels one dimensional. I don’t like it. I prefer to see the whites of their eyes when they are trying to spin me a yarn
I have colleagues who love it due to zero office politics, shite tea, stale biscuits and being learned at by the facilities manager. That’s not me btw |

I've been working from home all the way through and it's working well. I was expecting a lot of IT issues but have been surprised at how will it has worked. I don't expect to be back in the office until spring at the earliest and even then note 5 days a week.
I think rhus will bring about a big change in the way office based staff work. Some know what effect that will have on city centres and all the businesses that rely on full offices. The effects of this pandemic will be so far reaching. |

Good and bad. I train on zoom. Saves money and a lot of hassle setting up classes but missing the interaction but still feeling blessed to be working. But I do get to play all my favourite albums and walk the dogs. |

"If you are working from home, how are you finding it? I have only been into work twice since March all a bit weird. Do not think I be in for a long time to come.
"
It’s a bit of a two edged sword for me. Am saving on commuting time and on petrol, but I am finding that being stuck indoors all day, and having my work there all the time, so not getting away from it, is wearing me down |

I’ve been working from home since 2016, since my office is in the Midlands and I’m, y’know, not. It took a long time to adjust to it, but I wouldn’t go back to working in an office environment now. That said, I’m very much an introvert, so it suits me. I can imagine that more extroverted people might be really struggling with the lack of face to face interaction. |

I’ve been working from home since March.
Did venture into the office a couple of times but it was like Piccadilly Circus in there.
Decided at home was the safest place to be.
I do miss the banter from work colleagues and contractors though. |

Loving it, it's one thing from all of this that has really worked in my favour. Lucky to have a job and the skills that mean I can be remote. Maintaining work-life balance is vital for wellbeing; key is having a dedicated workspace that you can walk away from each day, and remembering to get off your arse for a workout or a walk... |

The problem is once the bean counters realise that the job can be completed remotely. They will outsource the positions to a cheaper source. If you can do your job in your bedroom in Airdrie, it can also be done in India at a much cheaper rate. We need to be careful what we wish for |

"Feels quite isolated sometimes. Too easily distracted and not getting much work done.
Besides that it's alright. Just really grateful i still have a job x"
Pretty much sums it up for me too. Told the boss I was cracking up (I do suffer from stress and anxiety) so I have the option of working in a local office as and when needed, but not permanently. Have been told that my own office is unlikely to be considered for reopening until March/April earliest
But I’m grateful to still have a job, it’s more than some of my mates have, who’ve been laid off |
