OK so we all know that working from home these days has its advantages and disadvantages. The main thing I've noticed is how down time is handled. You can't just go and have a chat to someone or whatever! So, does anyone else feel that after so long now, that they are reaching the end of Fake Taxi?? |

The only thing I feel with Working from Home is that you're having to justify your time more.
Also when you work a little bit extra, you're not getting any thanks, you get asked why you had no time during the day to do it.
If there was no global pandemic I'd have started looking for another role.

There are pros and cons. I like the extra time I have to sleep without the getting ready routine and commute. I do miss small talk though. The wee conversations and laughs you have with folk. You can't arrange a 'Teams' meeting to ask someone what they are having for their tea or if they saw Bake Off last night. Lol! Well you could but not the same. I would like to have a mix of both office and home time. |

I’m still enjoying it, losing the daily commute from Glasgow to Edinburgh has made a massive difference to how I feel and I can sleep longer which is never a bad thing! |

I’m still working from home while Mrs is back to work.
There are definitely pros and cons to the whole thing. No longer stuck in the car doing the daily commute is definitely a bonus, sleeping longer and having a relaxing start/end to the working day.
On the flip side, i feel it is far more of a full-on working day. As others say, no more chit chat and sharing ideas. Less chance to network too. Just more of sitting at my desk working.
To combat that, I’ve took to either finishing an hour early or extending my lunch break to try and not burn out.
I’d always thought I’d love not having to be in the office as there are too many back stabbing dickheads that I need to work with. It ends up, after seven months, that I miss the interaction with those back stabbing dickheads.
I’m also on here way too much as I work. |

Find it hard to not be able to put any distance between me and my work, but, on the whole, I think I prefer working from home |
