Depends on what you are trying to connect it to and what ports the device has I use two computer screens and they are both hdmi but you may only have 1 hdmi connection so could USA vga.... This might sound like I'm taking nonsense but I'll try to help best I can lol

Most modern TV's have HDMI inputs. Most modern laptops will have an HDMI output. HDMI cables can be picked up in a supermarket for under a tenner. That should sort the TV bit out.

The 'computer screen' is a different kettle of fish. Most will have 'Display Port' or HDMI now, older monitors may have VGA or DVI ports & really good monitors may have all of them.

Be aware that if you're connecting a laptop it's rare for them to have two outputs for an external screen unless you also have a docking station. PC's do better, with most (not all!) having the capability to support two monitors.

To give exact answers I'd need to know the make & model of the PC, the make & model of the monitor & the make & model of the TV.

I'm cunfused what your looking to do you want two screens displaying the same feed? Or are you looking to use the screens for different feeds if the latter it's more a software fix. If it's same feed hdmi to TV svideo to monitor or vise versa

I have a computer desktop(not laptop).. It has a screen.. Provided by work

I have a home computer which I use a smart TV as my screen..

I want to use my smart TV as an extra screen for my work computer, I have a cable for both but I need another cable to connect my smart TV to the other computer and screen... Different connections hence why I can't just use the cable I have.

How many connections on the work computer are outputs to screens ? They can be hdmi flat D shape connector . VGA fat D shape 3 rows of small holes or rectangular with 4 connections a small gap then 8-10 connections . Once you know which outputs there are then see if computer can be set to twin screen mode in display settings then get whatever lead to hdmi to go from computer to smart tv . I’m only a half smart TV hope this helps .
