Dalwhinnie or in the absence of that, Jura/Glenfiddich/Balvennie or Tamnavulin for a wee tipple.
Socially, Grouse/bourbon or Jim Beam and diet cola.
Pinot Noir or Malbec occasionally too.

I’m an indiscriminate drinker - each drink has its own merits to be found.
Except gin - that just tastes like various forms of Christmas trees steeped in cheap vodka. It also loses points for being a ubiquitous trend that will be associated with the present time. In 10years, gin cocktails and G&T will be the fodder for comedians making fun of the decade. |
