this minute!

The Scottish government reported on Tuesday that almost 40,000 pupils had been tested for coronavirus since term started, with 117 positive results.

Thats, approx, 250 per 100000. They closed Leicester, at 140. What's happening up there

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

0.3% of kids tested had the virus. The only things that’s happening here is that you don’t understand statistics.

Nope. 117 out of 40000 is naff all. You should probably have a better grip of mathematics before you try to use it to make a point.

Jesus fucking Christ. You’re far from Carol Vorderman.

117 kids testing positive does not equate to 250 in every 100000 of the population. Not even in your wildest dreams.

It does 117 out 40000.

So what portion out of 100000 in school

250 its massive considering don't spread and no symptoms

If don't think that's, worry you must be related to Boris Johnson or dimminc cummings boyfriend

Currently my house has been struck down with back to school bugs. The common cough /cold (we know that because we tested negative)

Peoole seem quite shocked that so many families are in the same boat but it's something that happens every year.

This year will be worse because we have had so little exposure to germs over the last 5 months.

Schools are safe and are essential. Closing them does more harm than good for so many reasons.

Scotland is a bigger place than Leicester is, so you can't even begin to compare the two.

No you can't, you would expect the situation in Scotland which is much less densely populated to be much better where in fact it us worse!

Rutherglen (ish)

Almost all of these cases have come from community transmission, and not the schools. It's people not taking care in their personal lives and spreading it that's the issue.
