We are doing the route next week in our van. Looking to wildcamp most nights. Are there any car parks along the way that are notorious for nocturnal activities? PM us please to avoid locations being posted on here... Thanks. X |

Just be careful the places you camp and going into villages. There has been a lot of problems with inconsiderate wildcampers/holidsy makers which unfortunately has meant the good ones get tarred with same brush. At the end of the day the locals are scared of the virus being brought into area though.
Have a lovely time, hope the weather is good for you |

"Also if you are driving about in a van you are not wild camping, you are camping.
Wild camping does not involve using vehicles. "
Must be hard getting your tent and cooking stuff up to Scotland and out into the countryside without a vehicle...... |

I'm aware there was some hassle last weekend with a couple "wild camping" in thier van who parked in a graveyard on Saturday night, now not in the graveyard carpark as it was full but actually in the graveyard on the road between the graves, seamingly it kicked off in the morning with the locals |
