"Thinking of taking this up. Anyone got any advice for a complete beginner?"
Don’t expect to be able to do everything on the first couple of classes. The more you go the more flexible you’ll become. |

I used to pop into the Glasgow Buddhist Centre on Sauchiehall St. who do drop in classes.
They do other classes for the more advanced but for a quiet calm relaxing drop in session they are central |

In the absence of in-person classes (which are better in terms of getting feedback and corrections) I've reverted to Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube - really good with stuff to suit all levels, capabilities and preferences. |

"If you are on the Southside of Glasgow, Govanhill Bath does a free online yoga class via zoom. Don’t need to reside in Govanhill. "
Thank God for that, no offense to anyone in Govanhill, but it is intimidating the way the locals hang around in large groups on Calder Street and Allison Street. |

Having done bith pro classes and a lot of home yoga, I can give Adrienne's stuff a thumbs up. Decent introductory moves and a good variety of videos without any patronising or spiritual woowoo. |

Another recommendation for this YouTube channel. And she has a lovely calming manner. |
