Covid May have impacted on some of these as I’ve not been up there in a while.

Hootenanny’s for music and drink,

Jonny Fox’s used to be great

Montgomeries for steak,

Rajah for Indian curry (cheese curry sound awful but is exquisite

The Rock Pool -Amazing food and fine wine and whisky

Sams Indian - Chasni is good

Inverness

The kitchen is good for food, Stevens Brae has a couple of nice restaurants with tables outside.

Scotch and rye is my go to place for drinks and eats. Not to big, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff

The Malt room is a cracking small bar.

Pre Covid we used to go to the glenalbyn for a game of pool and a drink after work. Nice wee pub, took us about 4 days to find the light switch for the pool table, should’ve maybe asked before it got to that stage

Aberdeen

I'm just back from a week in Inverness, half the places I went to I didn't even check the names of but they were all really good and we had a great time, some awesome scenic walks. Just don't mention that your from Aberdeen as you'll get some dodgy looks
