Oh hang on a sec that makes him welsh...so to go for the thread theme ....Robert the Bruce |

There is a wee old man in my street who does so much for anybody be it shopping, DIY,grass cutting anything at all and never asks for anything in return. He is a local hero and an inspiration into kindness and thoughtfulness and his manners and charm are heart warming.
He is my favourite by far |

My love is like the red red rose plucked in June
My love is like the melody sweetly played in tune..
In many ways your Rabbie was the worlds original rock star...
Died relatively young..
Played away with numerous illegitimate offspring...and his songs are still popular today...
Oh dear as he was a bit of a philanderer do you think that might upset someone today and they'll demand all his statues be taken down...
I'll join you in telling them to fffffuck oooofff |

Didnt really have much time for her but this women has grown in stature and resembles a true leader in times of crisis like covid 19. Nicola Sturgeon I take back every bad thing I've said about you in the past. |

Yes, whether you agree with her politics or not, Nicola Sturgeon has lead Scotland well in this difficult time. Compare and contrast with the Blusterer-in-chief doon sooth!
Also Brian Cox - the Dundonian actor is worth a mention. |

As a 'non Scot' living up here I'm actually more impressed with her than I ever have been with Boris Johnson, the only thing he's probably ever been good at was playing the mayor in Ben and Holly's little Kingdom
