Sooo I've only been in the scene a little over a year before Covid hit. But I have this gut wrenching feeling that Swinging as we know it could be gone for a long time to come. Especially with what has happened with the latest surge in cases in Aberdeen connected with pubs and bars...
Am I overthinking this? Would love to know other peoples thoughts and views on this.

Thinking the same thing 
Especially for new people to break into the scene. Those who are established in the scene will have a better time of it but it will limit “new blood” coming onto the scene |

Exactly what K said. As with the idiots who won’t wear a mask, there will be people who are so desperate for a fuck that they have started meeting again. I prioritise my health, and the health of my loved ones, over a quick fuck with a stranger. |

Im really shocked with the surprised reactions i get from people when I say I am fairly certain I wont be playing with anyone this year. And its not just guys, its couples as well.

Some of the comments on here and profile updates are a great filter for finding out who the desperados are and who are willing to put, not just their own health, but everyone’s around them at risk.

We’ve said all along that anyone meeting the now, putting everyone’s health at risk, is not for us. If they have no regard for a killer virus then what other aspects of their health do they not give a toss about.
Swinging will return though. We might all just have to wear hazmat suits! |

I see the risk equally between couples and singles. I for one won't be meeting anyone. Kind of disappointed in the number of people who are asking to meet. Have they no consideration for family, friends or workmates. Plus if they are willing to take the chance with this what other risks with their health are they prepared to take. |
