Applecross, Harris/Lewis (in fact lots of the Hebridean Islands are pretty special), Plockton, Gairloch, Portsoy, Pennan, Catterline, Brora, Ardnamurchan.... There are loads, mostly by the sea.

Think Glencoe is just stunning and majestic no matter what time of year you go up/through (even in the rain!)!
Skye
Arran
Glen Affric
Glenfinnan (before Harry Potter made it famous!)
Culzean Castle (Ayrshire)
Melrose (the Borders)
Loch Lomond
But even wee places like Loch Ard/Loch Katrina beautiful
Mugdock
I’ve been lucky enough to visit Shetland and Orkney when on Tall Ships so will include them.
Agree with another poster^ who said they sit and think ‘how beautiful Scotland is’ and we’re so lucky to have this scenery. people should try and venture out.

There are many gorgeous beaches in Scotland. Some of my favourites are:
Aberlady Bay
Gullane
Tentsmuir (not to dog or be naked)
St Andrews
Elie.
I love the botanic or princess steet gardens on a sunny day.
I love South Queensferry just to look out at the water and the bridges and zone out from the world.

No one can argue re the splendor of rannoch moor and Glencoe regardless of the direction you travel in..
But one glen I've always been impressed with and feel it's almost as spectacular as Glencoe is glen sheil with the 5 sisters of kintail bordering it to the north... |

Was there a week ago. Mobbed. The line for the icecream shop was mental so gave it a miss. Seems this staycation is catching on and sunny St Andrew's is no secret anymore.
Also like Skye for the scenery and Edinburgh for pubs, eating and general good vibe.. |
