That’s very true thankfully it’s only the town that is locked down and the shire is still able to be as normal as is normal just now

Lossiemouth is in Moray, nae the shire, and nearly 70 miles from Aberdeen so is not affected by lockdown directly at all. Was speaking to two couples I know in Lossie and the beaches were mobbed today.

It would however be very irresponsible to travel up from The Deen given the current circumstances.

Totally agree if I was from the centre of town but thankfully I’m in the shire a good bit away. Been hearing that pubs are now asking for proof that you’re not coming from town to keep the locals safer

Unfortunately I think a lot of people will travel out of Aberdeen to surrounding areas.

Although I would literally be going to her house and back home again its not worth the risk when her hubby works in the centre.

Here’s hoping that they are sensible for a change and stick to the five mile rule but after what has happened who knows

Well if pubs were doing their jobs properly, contact details should be taken, just add proof of address to that , job done. What's more important , having a drink where you must give details or refusing and staying home. Some will be happy and some wont. Simple.

Does make you wonder how safe your contact details are when having to hand over to staff - stalking made easy

A bit far fetched that stalkers will be looking over your shoulder while filling in a form. Still while extremely slim it's still possible, so if people are in fear of that then it's still 'simple', don't go to a pub or anywhere where it's needed. No more dentist appointments, hospital appointments, doctors, hotels, the list is endless if your afraid to confirm your address.

Well all those places have my address already - the person behind the bar does not! And I was just making a comment as I actually haven't been out to any of those in your list since the start of the year and don't plan on anytime soon.

"Is anyone up there this weekend?"

Up here permanently, all bars and restaurants are now tables booked only. Lots of tourists here already

Sounds like a quiet weekend then and plenty of time on the beach tucked away from everyone else

As NSA says, most places you are now having to book and some beer gardens will only let no more than 2 families sit together in a booking.

There has been Covid up here, but the numbers are very low and we would prefer to keep it that way, so the hope is that people will be sensible and not travel this way if they don’t need to
