"Would be great to get away for a quiet weekend break.. I’m from Glasgow . Don’t want to drive to far .. Preferably a country village feel with a few nice bars ..any ideas anyone ?"
Oban is supposed to be lovely and easy to get to from Glasgow. Or do you mean smaller? |

"Nice drive to Oban but just a tad too far. Been to Moffat a few times , just need to get away for a quiet time with a few meals and a nice bar. Small country village feel . "
Inverary then? The George Hotel has a lovely pub and awesome rooms. Not very cheap and likely to be popular but so nice. |
