I think i'm an average looking guy who has a great personality, and a GSOH, but i wonder, is it looks over personality more that counts these days to a woman? It's really hard to know if women find you attractive or not these days i think....  They don't tend to make the 1st move ever! lol  |

got to be personality, especially over an internet site like this. there a some people with the looks but certainly Not the personality to match it.
anyway, to take looks over the actual person is pretty shallow |

That's what i think too.
I just try to have a laugh with folk, but it seems people have lost the ability to laugh without worrying about what other might think..i always like personality over looks, i'm the type of person who likes to meet folk and find out how the operate in life 1st, even if they're not my type  |

It has to be a bit of both I think.
You have to be attracted to the person in order to have sex with them , but, for us we also need to get on with the person so that you have something to chat about inbetween playing  |

totally agree!! both.......
u might get a hot gorgeous looking guy but just find him unattractive personality wise and it just doesnt do it for me !! and visa versa!!
got to be a bit of both.... i tend to find as well for my self the more i get to know someone sometimes the more attractive i find then... |

personality and wicked sense of humour win every time, I think if someone is fun to be with and makes you at ease and relax then the attraction is there |

I suppose it depends on what different people find funny?? I like to laugh at silly wee things i find amusing, but some people might think i'm stupid! lol :P

For us it has to be a bit of both - in balance.
Attraction comes first - we need to be attracted to the person/couple in order to have sex with them. So looks are important, however once past this stage the personality takes over as we have to all "click" - ability to hold good conversation and a GSOH are essential. |

personality all the way with me . if i cant talk with a guy and more importantly have a damn good laugh with them makes no difference how good looking he is .if its pure looks its would be easier going to local dancing and pulling first guy you see.
far more interesting and sexy to connect on a mental level then physical side developes naturally |

If it's true that you don't get a second chance to make a first impression AND it's also true that people decide about others in the first 30 seconds (I reckon that's true too); how does someone with a huge personality and average looks get past the first hurdle? |

Personality definitely the thing - nad respect in there too.
However, anyone who states that they've got a 'great personality' we'd personally avoid, as it's surely up to others to judge (possibly Goerring thought he'd a great personality from his point of view |
